Violation of Probation

With every conviction of a DUI comes the minimum twelve months of probation.  Probation can be violated by being arrested on a new charge or failing to meet your end of the court’s sentence.  Important to understand is probation is a sentence where you are excused from jail by the court.  If you violate a misdemeanor probation sentence the Judge can resentence you to jail for the remaining time on probation.
